This is for the first time in North Karnataka, this technology is being used by a neuropsychiatry centre to treat patients. Dr. Shivanand Hiremath, lead neuropsychiatrist at Antharya Neuropsychiatric Centre, explains, “VR therapy is proving to be an invaluable tool in treating a wide range of mental health conditions. We’re seeing promising results in patients with stress disorders, insomnia, anxiety, panic disorders, phobias, OCD, and even addiction.”
